Since the late 1980s DataGrafikk a.s has been one of Norway’s leading suppliers of software for the public transport market. The projects we have been involved in during these years have given us experience in handling small, single-user systems as well as large systems with several hundred users.
We focus on offering our clients solutions based on high quality, service and performance. Our personnel is highly qualified and serviceminded.
We seek to develop our competence through both in-house and external training in available technology, and through a continuous evaluation of tools, databases and methods used in application development.
All new products are developed for Windows NT / 2000 / XP –platforms, and are based on Client/Server-technology for Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. The applications are integrated with Microsoft-products through OLE2-connections. We plan to integrate our solutions with GIS-tools.
A generalisation of all new developments is important to us. It gives us the opportunity to use the products in different areas, and for different purposes. An example of a product used for different purposes is PatLink, our first information system for public transport-departures. This application was used as basis for the development of ShipInfo, a system for assignment of pilots, and for showing and prioritizing ship calls at one of Hydro’s gas terminals.
