AKT: Apps for travel planning and real-time information

AKT’s real-time project nearly completed: The Android app for AKT can be AKTAAppSanntLitenaccessed on Google Play. Like on WEB and mobile, the travel suggestions will be complemented by well-known real-time updates and discrepancy reports (queue/ cancellations etc.). Departure lists for stops will be shown as real-time lists. All deviations will be in yellow. The iPhone-app will be available within a few days.

In cooperation with Bouvet, DataGrafikk is developing a new application for iPhone

Kolumbus has kindly lent us access to data for testing the application. The system is based on a client application on iPhone that communicates with WEBServices on DataGrafikk’s server. Due to iPhone’s ability to read its GPS position (or approximate location using triangulation), one can find new ways to locate all the stops nearby.
